Dancing with God: Wisdom, Spirit, and the Call to Live Fully
A short reflection on Proverbs 8:1–4, 22–31 and John 16:12–15
Where is God when life feels complicated? Today’s readings remind us that God is not distant or static. God’s Wisdom is woven into the very fabric of creation, calling out at the crossroads of life, inviting us to listen, wonder, and respond.
In Proverbs, Wisdom is a living, joyful presence who delights in the world and in humanity. She is there at the beginning, and she is there in every new beginning we face. In John, Jesus promises that the Spirit will keep guiding us into deeper truth. We are not left alone. The conversation with God continues, even now.
The image of Wisdom dancing at creation and the Spirit speaking new words calls us to a faith that is alive. It is not about memorising static rules; it is about joining the flow of God's love with our head, heart, and hands.
Faith is a living relationship, not a finished formula. God is still speaking, guiding, and delighting in us.
We are called to live with curiosity, love, and courageous action — worshipping God, following Jesus, Spirit filled, engaged in God’s ongoing story.
