Words for Worship contains contemporary, scriptural, relevant prayers for use in worship services. They are based on the Revised Common Lectionary but are easily adapted to other lectionaries. Reproduction rights are free for subscribers within their own parish, e.g. printed liturgies, orders of service. Prayers are included for special days of the Christian year.

Worship is central to the church' life and work. In worship we renew our strength through communion with God who calls us. When the faithful come together in Christ, new relationships of love and peace are discovered, and we are sent again into the world to minister in God’s name.

Because everything the church is and does flows from its worship, liturgical renewal is a major concern confronting the church in our time.
